Sunday...

What do you do when church is cancelled because of this:

THE SNOW HAS FINISHED... BUT WIND AND VERY COLD TEMPERATURES REMAIN A THREAT IN THE WAKE OF THE RECENT SNOWSTORM. BRISK WESTERLY WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH... IN COMBINATION WITH VERY COLD TEMPERATURES... WILL CREATE DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS OF 25 TO 35 DEGREES BELOW ZERO THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...?
My children enjoyed:
reading their favorite books...

working on puzzles....

My mom gave us a 1000 piece puzzle that Ethan is tackling all by himself. I won't be hearing the words, "Mom, I'm bored" for awhile!

and making creations from playdough...

I enjoyed making this for my niece's 13th birthday! Happy Birthday Alexis!!

and Caleb enjoyed his nap?!?!

Can anyone please tell me how he got out of the crib???

We all enjoyed FHE, playing the game, "Are you smarter than the Primary Children?" which you can find here,

primary children contestants....

It is safe to say that Roger is smarter than the primary children. It is not as funny as it would have been if he lost, but Blake did save him when he wrote that Noah built the ark to save his family from the flood and not Nephi, which Roger wrote down as his answer!

We ended the evening playing games, watching a movie, and enjoying delicious tostadas!! Roger starts work again tomorrow and his new schedule will be M-F:( We have enjoyed having him home with us these last two weeks!!

It sounds like a great "family together" way to end winter break! My kids are seriously praying for snow here!

You appear to have found a good solution for those "Winter Blues." I tend to stay indoors, too. I hate the cold and the snow and the pain that comes with it.

Ever notice that if you stand on your head outside in the snow, the word "SNOW" becomes "MONS" - as in "moans. That's close enough to the real meaning of snow. LOL

Happy Minnesota Winter!
