Unexpected good news....

Some of you already know, but for others I have an experience to share with you.
As many of you already know from a previous blog that we decided to stay in our home for another year. But as the summer went by and certain circumstances changed our situation we found ourselves wondering what we were going to do this fall when Roger went back to work.
Well...
two weeks ago we received a phone call from a family wondering if were still selling our home.
They had seen it when it was on the market, but had to wait until their home sold. Their home finally sold and were looking for a home to buy. They wanted to see our home and we told them they could, but that we weren't looking to sell our home.
They called us back and told us they wanted to buy our home and made an offer that we couldn't refuse. That was last Monday.
They asked us if we could be out of the home by Aug. 26. We said yes (thinking we had two or three weeks to move out). No, no. We looked at the calendar and I turned to Roger and said, "Roger we have ten days to move out of our home!"
We went to work right away. We spent last week looking for a home to rent near Rogers work and finally found one last Saturday. We spent the rest of out time packing up our home, changing everything over to our new home and out of our old home; spending time with our friends one last time; said our good-byes to our little branch; preparing ourselves for our big move tomorrow and then unloading on Thursday in our new home for the next year.

We feel very blessed and know this was an answer to a prayer. How else can you explain it? We will miss our home and our little town that we have grown to love. We will miss all our friends that we love to be with. I hope that the new family moving in will take care of my home and love it as much as we did.

And we will miss you all! Know that you are always welcome to stay at our house when your family comes back to visit Fergus Falls! You will come back, right? At least for a GNO??? Best of luck!
