Tree Farm
This November has been an unusually warm month, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. We decided to go to a tree farm to get our Christmas tree, and it was once again a beautiful warm day.
It didn't take us long to find our Christmas tree...
...and the kids were excited to help dad cut the Christmas tree down.
While Roger and Ethan were loading the Christmas tree to the van, the kids went exploring around the tree farm.
We headed back to the main office to purchase our tree. With no roof rack on our van, we needed someone to sit with the tree so it would not fall out. It is usually my job, but I was more than happy to give it to my son who volunteered to do it this year. He did a great job!
Afterwards, we walked around to see what other activities were available to us. This picturesque scene caught my daughters eye.
Emma sat in front of the wagon, so she could get as close as she could to Mini Pearl and Major.
We had Maria, Kirk and Mason meet us at the tree farm so they could go find their tree.
Caleb was a little uneasy riding the wagon. He didn't want Roger to hold him, but he held on tightly to Rogers coat.
The horse lover and Caleb were more than happy to be able to pet the horses after we were done with the ride.
After we were done with the ride, we asked the kids what they wanted to do next. We could see Santa and sit on his lap, go pet some animals or sit by the bonfire.
They all said they wanted to go home and decorate their Christmas tree.
We did that.
The tree barely fit in our home.
The kids loved decorating the tree
and finding all their favorite Christmas decorations.
We are ready for Christmas.
WE LOVE OUR CHRISTMAS TREE!
