Glen Echo Park

We finally had a free Saturday that we could do something as a family.
Since it was such a beautiful fall day we decided to head outdoors. It was sooo nice that I was able to mow the lawn. November!! mowing!! I know!!
We headed to a new place, Glen Echo Park, and originally it was an amusement park in the 1920s. It was cool to see the area and the originals buildings.
We headed to the living classroom where the kids learned about the environment and the animals that live there.
My crafty kids went right to the table to make a turkey, Caleb loved climbing and crawling all over the Discovery Museum and Ethan loved checking out the creek to see if their were any fish there.
They loved the place and we loved spending the time with them.

We've only been to Glen Echo once, but the kids totally loved it. Fall looks like a great time to go there. :)
