Sky Meadows State Park

We decided this weekend to head to the mountains. We were excited to see the Fall Foliage and we found a State park that had a Pumpkin Patch. The State Park also were having Colonial Weekend.
The drive was beautiful and the Fall Foliage was not a disappointment for us.
Because of soccer and an hour drive to get there, we got there kind of late and missed out on all the kid related activities.
Note to self: remember to leave earlier next year.
The kids thought is was cool to see the people dressed up and do activities that were related during the Colonial War.

They especially loved this part....watching the colonial soldier fire a musket.
Afterwards, we headed to the pumpkin patch and the kids went searching for their perfect pumpkin.
Four pumpkins successfully found.
Towards the end, since we missed most of the activities and the ghost tour at Mount Bleak House, the kids did find this kid area to roam around on...
...or should I say climb all over on.
It was a perfect day to be outside and enjoy this Fall day.
