Spring Break day trip......Hill Country Science Mill

Spring Break was last week.

My kids idea of spring break is to stay home and watch movies and play video games.

My idea of spring break is taking them to places to learn and have fun!

We compromised.

After a couple of days of movie marathons, video games and doctor visits we needed to get out!

I heard about this place in Johnson City and wanted to check it out!

It was pretty cool, especially if your kids love science.

My kids LOVE anything to do with science and experiments.

This experiment brought back memories!

We went to a science museum back in Minnesota years ago.

We saw this Mindball exhibit and all the kids wanted to try.

Ethan was so excited and eager to beat everyone not realizing the concept of the experiment was that you needed to stay calm.

Everyone that knows Ethan, knows that he cannot possibly stay focus and calm at that age.

He tried so hard, but his brain waves were off the charts.

When we all saw this again, the kids wanted to try this again against Ethan.

Ethan, being the good sport that he is, sat down and this happened....

That's right...perfect calmness right from the start!

Pretty amazing!

He has come so far since his younger years!

Now he has no excuses for his grades and homework! ;)

The kids had a great time and even saw a 3 D movie about sharks.

It was a fun day just to get out and do something as a family!

I even let Ethan drive.....on the freeway...during rush hour!!
