Austin, Texas

Nothing compares to the museums in D.C. that we enjoyed so much, so finding one in Austin was a struggle.

We went to the Texas Memorial Museum to learn more about Texas and it was alright.

The reason we went there was to see actual dinosaur footprints, only to find out that the exhibit was closed for renovations.

We only got to see a picture.

Not as impressive.

The kids were great troopers walking quickly through the museum and looking at displays of animals, dinosaurs, and fish-like creatures from the Texas area.

Afterwards, we headed to the coolest shop in Austin, The Big Top Candy Shop!!

Our kids were in heaven!

We walked around the area, ate at the Food Trucks and enjoyed our treats in Austin.

It's a nice area and we enjoyed our last day of vacation before school started on Monday!
