LRES 5k Run...

On March 17th, Laurel Ridge had their fourth annual 5k run. We decided to do the race again because of this cute sweet girl!!

Emma ran her second 5k run.

She hooked up with her good friend as her running partner, and Roger and I ran behind them cheering them on!!

They did awesome!! Emma was also an awesome friend.  Her friend wasn't as fast as a runner as Emma was, so Emma made sure that they stayed together through the whole race!! That is a true friend!!  Emma said she had so much fun and can't wait to do it next year.   She is also considering doing the Girls on the Run program they offer for 3rd graders!! Another runner in the family!!
