Ocean City...
After spending three days deciding if we should go to Ocean City (due to Hurricane Earl), we packed our bags and left early Saturday morning to the east coast.
I must say that I am so so so glad that we went. We haven't been to the beach since Blake was one years old and we so miss the sandy beaches and the big blue ocean.

This is our first time to the Atlantic Ocean. We came with Maria, Kirk and Mason. Three of my kids enjoyed seeing the ocean...

...one wasn't quite so sure. It seemed Caleb preferred hanging out at the beach with his trucks instead.

Actually, I was glad anyways that he stayed at the beach, because of how big the waves were and the extremely strong undertow that kept pulling us back to sea. (again due to Hurricane Earl)
But of course, it didn't stop my children from enjoying the waves. It was a beautiful day to be at the beach.
It didn't take long for my boys to discover boogie boarding.

We spent all day at the beach and then we changed and walked around the boardwalk. Totally reminded me of the movie, "Beaches"
So many people walking on the boardwalk. Their was an amusement park at the end of the boardwalk, hotels and condos lined up along the boardwalk, and food everywhere. People were sharing their talents with music, balloon making, and some were even in costumes as walked by.
We walked up and down the boardwalk as the sun began to set. It was awesome!
The next day, bright and early we headed back to the beach.
We spent the day collecting numerous seashells...
...building sand castles, digging holes, covering children with sand...
...and boogie boarding.
Caleb even went into the water....
...until he saw a wave coming towards him...
...and went back to what he enjoyed best about the beach.
The boys spent every moment they could to master their skills...
...of boogie boarding. What a great way to end the day.
We packed up our stuff and headed home. We came home sun-burnt, full of sand and lots of great memories.
In the words of Caleb, who was crying as we left the beach, "I want to stay at the beach forever!"

Thanks for posting the pictures. They are great...
Now that the kids are back to school again, we need to talk and figure out a time to get together again. :)
