Marching Band Season on its way.....

School and Fall like weather somewhere else means....

Marching Band Season!!

We had a parent preview night to see them perform for the first time and once again they were amazing!

Since Ethan has grown 7 inches from last year, it was harder to find him in the group of Sousaphones!!

After their performance, we each got a turn to feel what it was like to carry his Sousaphone!

Let's just say, I'm impressed with their ability to carry the instrument and march around the field 10 hours a day!

So we will be spending the next three months watching Ethan perform in the half time show!

One of our friends said that the majority of the people that come to watch the football game are band parents! Once the half time show is over, most of the people leave!

The band directors have asked us now to stay for the whole game to cheer and support our football team players!!

Band is huge here in Texas!!
