Backpacking in Hobble Creek Canyon Mountains......

Our trip to Utah was fabulous!

It was great to see family and friends again!

We miss them already!

Be prepared for an overload of blogs of our fun vacation!!

Starting off with.....The Man Hike!!

Every year Roger will go on his "man hike" with either friends or a family member and as I like to say, "reclaim his manhood" "overcoming dangerous obstacles" or "man vs wild"!!

We told the boys that when they turn 12 they will get to go with their father!

Ethan started going three years ago and love it, but this year Blake got to go on his first one!

When we found out we were going to Utah for summer vacation, Roger went right to work to plan the man hike up in the beautiful Utah Mountains!

The boys weren't too excited about the trip, but at least they were going with their cousins and uncle!

These pictures were taken by Roger.

They had a great time! They hiked 16 miles in the mountains, endured two nights of severe thunderstorms and lightening and carried at least 10 lbs of gear on their backs! What manly young men I have.

They had so much fun that they are already talking about next year's hike.
