a good question.....

I had an interesting conversation with Caleb today:

Caleb:  Mom, if someone wants something at the store, like a toy, can they take it or wait until they have money to buy it?

Mom:  Caleb, if you take something from the store without paying for it, it's stealing. (thinking for a moment) You didn't take anything from the store we just came from, did you?

Caleb: no, so what's the answer?

Mom:  what do you think is the right answer?

Caleb:  I think you should wait until you have money to buy something.

Mom:  Great answer.  Why did you ask that question?

Caleb: Because I thought it would be a good question! :)
