Spelling Bee....second round...

Caleb competed again at the Spelling Bee at his school.

He was ready, he studied hard and felt confident he would do well.

Unforntunatley, this is the sad face of a boy who came in 7th place.  He was not happy, especially when he found out the word he spelled wrong, "sinewy" he actually knew how to spell.  The lady pronounced it different than how we pronounced it at home! This is when the definition of the word comes in handy!  I did remind him that he was the only boy standing amongst 6 girls so he should be proud of himself.

He said he will never forget how to spell the word, "sinewy" again!
