Vacation Drama....

 

This year for vacation, we planned a trip to MN to visit family.

Everyone was excited to go and see family, visit the North Shore and enjoy themselves in a much needed break!

The second day into our vacation, this happened..

Emma is at the dentist office....why?

Because this happened...

 We were visiting my brother and all the cousins were playing together at the park. Emma comes running to us and informing us that she ran into a metal pole.

She felt something in her mouth and spit it out.

She opens her mouth and we noticed that she is missing half of her tooth.

We are completely shocked!

She had no idea she lost her tooth and we had her look in a mirror.

She went completely pale and the tears started rolling.

Roger went back with her to see if we could find the tooth and couldn't.

Luckily, my mom had a dentist friend from her ward that was able to take us the next day and used filling to fill up the part that was missing.

It looks great, but we will have to see what happens in the next few weeks.

They are pretty sure the tooth will die and she'll need more dental work done. The dentist said that she was lucky her braces saved her tooth from being knocked out.

She is to take it easy on the vacation.

So what is happening here??

The next day she is running around with her cousins again and trips over.  She protects her mouth this time, but tore a chunk of her toe.

Luckily, we were able to place it back on and tape it, praying that we didn't need to take her to the doctor to have stitches!!

She decided from then on she was going to be much more careful!!
