The Eagle has Landed.....

One of the biggest task that we needed to do this summer was to get Blake's eagle project finished before his summer got crazy busy!
Our neighborhood needed some projects done and asked if their was a Boy Scout looking for a project.
Blake wanted to do something to help out the community so this worked out perfectly.
We didn't realize how big the project was going to be and took us three days to get it done.
We are so grateful for all the ward members who came and helped him out.

We are so grateful for Blake's friends who helped out when he needed them the most.
Life lesson learned here.  Even though Blake's friends had best intentions of helping him out, having them paint by themselves without adult supervision is not one of Blake's best ideas. He learned the hard way when they all had to go back and clean up the paint messes they made.
We are so grateful for family coming over and helping Blake out.  Families are the best.
Emma contribution to helping out and also fulfilled a personal progress project!!
 The finished project:
painting the ceiling...
 Painting the bathroom walls...
 refilling the Volleyball sand pit....
and making a tennis back board.
We are so proud of Blake for accomplishing this big task.  His father was right there with him to the end helping him with whatever he needed done. He was Blake's backbone in the project.
Now the fun part, getting all the paperwork done and on time!!
