Rodeo Houston......

To end our Spring Break, we headed down to Houston to see the Rodeo.
We have never been to a rodeo, so we thought it would be fun to check it out and see what it's all about!
This place is huge!
We got their pretty early since we didn't know what to expect and started checking out the vendors.

Afterwards, we decided to check out the food.
Blake with his funnel cake!
It was great eating the funnel cake, the hamburgers, roasted corn and potato chips on a stick.
I missed out on some other foods, which I wish I was able to try, but one word why we didn't get to it......
RAIN!!!
It rained, it poured and we were all soaked!!
We headed for the indoors and so did everyone else!
It was packed and crowded!
We saw chicks, bunnies, and cows.
Lots of cows!
Emma wanted to keep looking at them....yeah they were pretty, all nice and combed,
but, if you seen ten cows already, pretty much the rest will look the same!
So we headed back outside in the rain and luckily found a petting zoo indoors for the kids to pet and feed!
Huge success!!
Happy children!
By this time, we were all pretty soaked! Our shoes were sloshing, our clothes were drenched and we were getting pretty tired at this point.
The big debate, should we stick around for the main event or head home????
We decided to stay!
It was the coolest thing ever!!
My kids loved every moment of it.
The steer wrestling, the bull riding, the calf scramble, and the mutton bustin!
We enjoyed it so much that I forgot to take pictures of the events!
We asked the kids if they enjoyed their time at the Rodeo and this was their favorite part.
They would go again for the main event!
It was a great family fun experience!
