Crossing Over

It's that time of season, when a Cub Scout is ready to cross over to the big leagues...

Boy Scouts.

Blake has reached that point.

They had a wonderful ceremony with the Cub Scout Leaders preparing them for the cross over with markings and a crisp new shirt.

At the other side, are Boy Scout Leaders and Boy Scouts welcoming them in.

Look!! Their is Blake's older brother super excited to have his brother with him in the Boy Scouts!! :)

We had a great experience with the Cub Scouts over the years. 7 years, give or take.  7 years of Pinewood Derby Races, pack meetings and den meetings. I can't help but feel relieved to be done with Cub Scouts for the next three years until Caleb joins.  But for now, I'll enjoy my break!
